continental parts

    Found a 1979 Lincoln Continental for 700 obo can I use the disc brakes and rear end out of it for my maverick (direct swap or minor fab)? I hope so cause I think I can get it for 500 and take the 460 out of it too. Thanks!

    yeah, you can use the rear......after you cut it down,its way too long as it is in the lincoln. so, by the time you cut, and get new axles or have the ones in it resplined, youll be money ahead to look elseware if your looking for minor changes or a bolt it. (in my opinion)

    When did the 8.8 stuff hit the market? Some big Fords/Mercs/Lincs from the 70's had trailing arms and coil springs.
