Is the clutch pedal assembly different on a 69-1/2 Maverick vs all the other years. (I know the steering column is different, and that is my concern: the way the bracket goes around the base of the column). Here is the one I've got: 1970 Clutch Pedal Assembly
As far as I know the only difference was in the rod connects the clutch pedal to the Z-bar. Early maverick used a different rod (Part number had an A suffix). The one in your picture is the later rod used with all of the later style 6 cylinder z-bars and all 8-cylinder z-bars (Part number with B suffix).
Doug,, I agree with reply above,, think all that is confusing is the steering column difference. Plus the difference in the rods. What exactly are you trying to put together? Dan
Thanks guys. Hopefully he can make it work by altering the rod. Dan, I was selling a 1970 clutch pedal assembly to a guy with a 1969-1/2. We were speculating there were differences, but didn't know for sure.
