When ordering carpet what should I be looking for? Loop? Cut pile? What holds up better? I think I can get ACC from summit but not sure what to order.

    It's personal preference. I prefer the cut-pile.

It also depends on whether or not you plan to stick to originality (what your car came with)...

I have two kids that will be riding around in this alot.... Which would hold up better? or does it matter. Sounds like the cut pile may look nicer. Not concerned about originality.

I prefer the loop (again, it's all personal preference). Basically cut-pile will have individual fibers sticking up (like grass) whereas loop has longer fibers that are clumped together and "loop" up and down (texture similar to an "afro" hair style). Sorry for the racial reference, it's the best i could do.
I don't think that either one has a distinct advantage, it's just what you want it to look like. I don't think maverick's originally came with "loop" carpeting.

I think the cut pile is easier to keep clean. "Loop" tends to hold in small particles.

    What about Shag? JK

I think I am going to go with the cut pile. If it is at all easier to clean, its the one for me.

The cut pile is easier to keep clean & vacuum, but the loop type is more durable & will last longer.
