I have a 4000 stall torque converter and would like some input on using and setting up correct rpm launch. I have a MSD al7-2 box a step 2 and a msd rpm selector modual as well. i also have a line lock. running a 351 + .030 on juice 125 shot at set to function at WOT. Any sugestions on rpm setting for launch?
If it's actually stalling at 4k I would start off the 2-step at about 3800 or so. Most people don't have near enough stall to take advantage of the torque so don't be afraid to push it. The 4k I had in my 302 now stalls at 5k in my new engine. Just don't stay on the brake to long or thinks get hot pretty quick. Make sure you can't activate the nitrous on the brake. Oh and Welcome
Thanks, I am running a 351 with anitrous power shot 125HP at WOT So if I am at 3800 rpm and the nitrous comes on ..... what do you think? Dennis
