Got mine from Auto Zone also. They had to special order them, the fronts came in the next morning, I had to wait like a week for the rear.

I seem to recall 1970 Mavericks having a special brake hose that is not available. Why is it special? I have no idea.

I checked www.rockauto.com and a couple other sources and the 70 parts are not available. Sounds like it is time to try the 71 parts.

Try one for a '70 Mustang. I have a friend with a '70 Mustang and it appears identical to the one on my '70 Maverick. The Ford parts book shows the Mustang hose being 1/2" longer. If that is the only difference, there is no reason it shouldn't work.
