Just wondering what you guys thought was the best set of brake pads? Right now i have the "best" raybestos available for the Mavericks, i paid the extra money for them because they came with shims. After a few thousand miles the shims just came unglued, bunched up and caused the pads to rub on the rotor. Plus they make more black dust than anything i've ever seen and don't even stop that well. I've had the albany brand on there before and they stopped well, but they didn't come with shims and didn't fit the caliper very well--caused an obnoxious rattling. I wish the Performance Friction brand made a set for our cars, i've put those on many cars and had wonderful luck with them.... You'd think there would be more pads available for our cars, they share the same pads as many of the early 80's Ford pick-em-ups (1/2 ton).
