    ummmmm..... hate to contredict you but some chevys do and did have a band.........

    Almost all transmissions made in the US had bands up untill .............. anyone . I dont know

    The newest transmission I have worked in the last 19 years is a E4OD and that was just to rape the low reverse gearset to put in a C6.
