adjustable valves?

    Does a 72 302 have adjustable valves? Also I'm building a 302 that was apart, Does the rod numbers punched in the side of the cap correspond with the cylinder it goes in, which I assume is front passenger #1, 2,3,4 behind then 5,6,7,8 on driver bank starting in front.

    yes the rods are marked as to where they go.. this is fairly important.. but if the crank was ground, and you have new pistons and new bearings, it wont matter really. make sure you get the rods trued as well

    im not sure on the adjustable rockers.

    and yes you are correct as to the cylinder numbering.. passenger 1-4 driver 5-8

    They are not adjustable if they are the original rockers....
