347 question?

    Building a 347 stroker for my 69.5 mav and wondering what best headers and what oil pan would work best for the job. engine block and tranny are from 71 mach 1 mustang. Mav is auto on colume and no power steering

    Welcome to the board. Most on here use Hooker 6901's or Hedmans. I use a Moroso oil pan. You may have to change to a floor shift for the headers. Do a search on here. I believe someone has made some changes to the column shift linkage and made it work.:Welcome:

    My 347 is just for street use with a few trips to the strip for fun. Oil pan came with the engine. Headers are Doug Thorley shorties. Column shift C4 linkage with bell crank was replaced with a fabricated rod with no bell crank. I don't know if those headers would work with the bell crank linkage. Let me know if you want details.
