302 swap

    i'm about to start building the 302 for my maverick and so im starting to try to gather up the parts i need for the swap. ive been trying to make a list of what i need but im drawing a lot of blanks so what am i missing.

    frame mounts
    motor side mounts
    alternator bracket
    power steering bracket
    302 bellhousing

    Some things that 302s came with, but are not totally manditory for a swap...

    Shorter throttle cable
    Double hump trans crossmember
    Engine crossmember, belly bar is what some call it.

    Some quick notes about your list:
    The frame stands are manditory for the swap, but you can use stands from other cars, not just Maverick. 66-70 SBF Stangs/Cougars as well as some SBF Fairlane/Falcons used similar frame stands that will work.

    Engine mounts are UNIQUE to Mavericks, but are still in local parts houses for around 15 bux each.

    You should probably upgrade your radiator too...

    what engine you have in there now ? if you have a 250 the bellhousing will work on a 302

    and headers or manifolds, what ever you want...pretty easy swap

    i have a 250 in there now im gonna use hooker 6901s as the headers and i know that motor side are readily available anything else missing?
