I installed the 4 leaf springs yesterday. The ride height is the same as it was with the warnout leafs.

Nothing against ESPO; I bought my U-bolts and bushings from them, but why do people buy leaf-springs from them when they can get them from J.C. Whitney for less money??
In any case, if after replacing the rear springs the height is not high enough, I suggest lowering the front to match...

Thanks for the additional info, it's nice to know that there is still some made in this country. I agree that's worth something. I will keep it in mind when go to buy some leaf springs. (y)

JCWhitney springs are American Made ... They shipped directly from a US based company who made them ... I threw out the shipping label so I forget the name ...

JCW? Or ESPO? What kind of shackles did you use? Stock? I would bet that 3-leafs would settle plenty over a year's time...

I have ESPO 4-leafs on my Grabber and JCW 4-leafs on my Yellow car ... The ESPO springs definitely sit higher than the JCW ....

I didn't notice any difference. But then again, maybe my 30 year old springs weren't sagging, much. I also noticed, there are two different shackles available for this car. A 3 inch and a 4 inch. Maybe that's the difference.
