    i own a 74 comet which i saved from a junk yard.i plan in doing a V-8 motor swap and i figured this would be a good place to start .

    the underneath looks good.there are a feww rust spots on the rocker panel.the only real problem is where the battery was im guessing the battery was leaking and corroded the whole area

    i've never seen that trim that goes all the way around the tail panel like that. usually its just around the encaps and the trunklid. :hmmm:

    That's how the trim was in 1974. My 74 Comet GT has that trim.
