Does anyone know a sure way to tell if a 1970 Maverick is truly a Grabber? It has 91 in the VIN yet the research I have done seems to show that the 91 and 93 in the VIN might not have started until 1973.

The VIN begins with 0K91U and it was originally passed on as a 1971, but the 0 at the front should be a 1970, is this correct?

And this vehicle has the Grabber hood with scoops/air vents. Can someone confirm if this was avail on the 1970 or not?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

93 in the VIN started in 71 from what I've read.

I had run a marti report on my vehicle to verify that it is a true grabber, which it is, and my VIN is a 91. Because 1970 grabbers were merely a trim package with stripes, rear spoiler and a blacked out tail panel (among a few other upgrades - no hood scoops and the only year for a non v8 grabber) I felt that it was the only definitive way to know for sure.
I'm gonna run a marti on my blue 70 because I was told when I bought the car that it was not a grabber but most people are misinformed about 70's and I have a feeling that it may be
