    LOL I just cant wait to fire it up and hear her rumble.... everything was clogged up with carbon in the heads and only had a 2 barrel carb with a stock cam....Not the case anymore!

    Its called mercadies brillant silver, these pics dont do it justice. Its like reflector paint when the sun hits it. I have changed the body color now so it wont be a pearl blue with the silber stripes but will now satin black with the silver stripes and the ford gt stripe on the side.

    Anymore progress?? And as a painter I would suggest taking a good look at the mustangs with racing stripes and side stripes.. They are sharp but that's a lot of stripe to look at..

    this was going to be the paint scheme....I just happen to find it in hot rod mag and was a little bummed that it was already done but at least it was not a Maverick. Now its going to be all satan black with all the stripes mercadies brilliant silver so the gloss and flake will pop over the black

    I have been working 6 days a week for the last 5 months and this month doing a few 7s...I bought a new house and been working on that as well so this project has been really slow. Im trying to get her fired up berfore the first of the year and then paint it shortly after.

    haha yeah I know, Im going on 6 years of getting this far and already had bought all the new parts about 4 years ago. At this point I just want to drive it....well get it painted and then drive it. I will do that after its painted and the interior is redone
