radio bezel screws!!!

    Im trying to put my am radio back in cause well it looks cool and ya cant hear the stereo in the car anyways lol.My problem is ive lost the 3 screws that mount the bezel to the lower dash anyone know the thread of these??

    I think size #10 or #8 sheet metal screws

    They're not sheetmetal screws. They're just 1/4-20 phillips head machine screws.

    On the later dash, yes they are machine screws, but on the early ones they are sheetmetal screws. I got mine in the help aisle in a random assortment of #8 and #10 interior screws. I believe I used the #10's.

    I guess it is whats in stock when the car rolled down the assembly line. My 74 had screws. The 71 bezel had screws. The Master Parts Catalog says screws.

    That's weird because my dash has square nuts welded to it for the radio bezel screws.
