Hello all, I just started a restoration on a 1972 Grabber. As you know it has 4 wheel drum breaks. I found a guy local that has a complete set of disks, calipers, gravel sheald and new master with boost off a 1975 Granada. He claims these will bolt on without mods to the car. Is he correct in his saying they will fit. If so is $350 reasonable? :hmmm:

Yes, Granada disc brakes are a direct swap. You may need to swap outer tie rods due to a different taper. Doubt the booster will fit.

As far as price it depends if the rotors and the calipers are usable.

Here is a site that sells new conversion kits http://www.discbrakeswap.com/

Very common and easy swap (y)

I had all Granada equipment on my own Maverick until I switched over to the Mustang II type front end :tiphat:

I would have to look in the garage to be sure how complete everything is but I know for sure I have the Granada spindles with the bolt on steering arms and the dust shields - the new11 inch 5 lug rotors I bought for them are now on my MII spindles but are cheap and available anywhere - I think I have rebuilt calipers and new pads w/ mounting hardware for them too - maybe bearings too :)

Thanks for all the prompt replies. Here is what I get. I believe the booster is from the Granada. The Prop valve appears to be there

Saw that on CL the other day. $350 seemed high to me.. but others would know better. Welcome to the board from Raleigh! :Welcome:
