Anyone have a good part number for the lower bushing? Went to pick one up at the parts store and they came out with one that looks like it could fit in the lower a arm lol
Not sure what you mean. The bushing that presses into the centerlink (Moog K8103)? I think there are two idler arm versions also. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-70-71-72-73-74-MAVERICK-IDLER-ARM-ASSEMBLY-/320743297273 http://ezautoparts.ecrater.com/p/9668614/idler-arm-maverick-comet-1973-1974-moog
i am referring to part 3358 in this diagram: http://www.1bad6t.com/Maverick/repair/diagrams/untitled198.gif rubber bushing with a metal sleeve, pressed into center link.
Wish I could help, but I haven't bought a new bushing for mine yet. I pressed out my old one and tossed it... maybe that was a bad idea. Rock Auto is even showing the K8103. They are also listing Raybestos and ACDelco numbers. Maybe they can help you.
I pulled these part #'s from work 70 maverick no p/steering idler arm support end 46G12007A , center link end 46G12009A the complete idler arm is 45C1024. these are A/C Delco part #'s(GM). Will check on monday for proper part # if you can wait.
