    About 3-4 months ago i bought a 73 comet for 200.00 i was going to use it for parts but i put a little time in it and some spare parts its turning into something that might be pretty good... had some carpet i never used for a 4 door took awhile but i got it... take a look

    Form what can be seen of the pix, that car looks pretty nice for a $200.00 car. Is it driveable? Looks like more than a parts car to me; If I did'nt want it I wud sell it intact.

    I was going to use it.as a parts car but it runs real good I drove it 30-40 mins yesterday no problem..needs a steering wheel and some bumpers and paint will be a good car...

    If you change your story from 3-4 months to 3-4 years, 73 to 74, Comet to Maverick and $200 to $250 then we will almost have the same story. I thought I was buying a parts car also but ended up driving it.

    Same story here. I bought it as a parts car. 9 years later it was done.
