Free beer to any Maverick expert who can provide guidance as needed on my 73-restoration project. I have $14k in my budget. I put together a nice shop and want to do everything I can by myself to insure I come in under budget.

    Thanks
    BOB in Acworth GA

I can't remember where everyone who is active lives, but you will be getting some help for sure. I know there are quite a few near you..lol

I hope they don't take offense to my not recalling the names. :biglaugh:
I haven't been here long enough for that to be set into my mind yet.

Congrats on the garage, and $14 k budget so looking forward to following this build like I mentioned in another thread!

LOTS of GA members here. There is a locational poll on the board that can show you.

Get active here, you'll have a bunch-O-friends to hang out with.

Look up the Dixie Maverick Crew. :thumbs2:

Yep...lots of Ga Maverick guys but unfortunately none of them know anything. All of the experts live in Alabama!!!

Just kidding! You should get a few people chiming in with offers to help. I have a few parts. I may or may not have what you need but ya never know. Good luck on your car. Look forward to watching your build. Take plent of pics. We love em!

You will only get help from the georgia boys if you like " going to Summit" "had lunch at Baby Janes" and "took a nap"..... oh and " A Large time was had by all. I forgot that these all need to be BOLD and Large font but Im lazy. Browse around and it will all make sense.

They do say all those things when they get together, not sure why that bothers you.. unless you want some BBQ and live in vegan country, hate shopping at Summit , dislike naps.. and Having fun with pals.

    73 Grabber,
BBQ? I'm moved to the South from Kansas City. I have BBQ sauce in my veins. Haven't been to Summit yet but I am about to drop a ton of money in that place. Will be making my first trip there in a couple weeks. Pulling the engine this weekend (I hope). I have their parts catalog memorized. Makes me feel like a kid looking at the toy catalog at Christmas.

    73 Grabber,
Thanx Ray. The only part I'm still looking for is a skinny front bumper. Hard to find at a good price. A rechrome cost $375 at "Chrome It" plus u supply the bumper. Already have $500 in the rear bumper!

Big, that was sarcasm. Just being funny and it will all make sense once he sees Franks post. And I forgot about the Tire Smoke. Maybe they can meet at Summit and Frank can give a demonstration? :biglaugh:
