You can fight it... or you just admit you were in the wrong take it on the chin, and beg for it to be plead down. Or risk them nailing you to the wall as a example. I choose the , kiss butt, show remorse , do the class and my 30 hours that I suggested before they did.. I paid the tiny fine... got no marks on my insurance, and to be honest I still speed. I just pick my times and places.. now like the track/strip in Spokaloo wash. And country roads sometimes. Never speed in my maverick yet as afraid it will fall apart and engine go boom right now :biglaugh:

Yeah.. I missed that when I read it last night. Fudge sticks.
I have nothing real world tried to fight that, could suggest goggling for free information on how to prove your innocence. Or find some way to come up with $ for fighting it via lawyer. Or  I would suggest looking up local lawyers call around find one that will work on a "Don't win don't get paid basis" But ask straight up the cost. Most will give you that up front. If not find another.
Not sure, don't want to give you bad advise. Which all free advise from people on the net could be in your case. :(

If he had a camera in the car, it'll hard to fight the charge, unless it's not true.

Get a lawyer. Find the money some how. Get that reckless charge reduced. It will haunt you for years.

I will be following your progress with this DDB.
Hope to heck you can plea it down, to a moving violation at worst. Or prove your innocence at best! :thumbs2:

I have to agree. Do WHATEVER it takes to plea this down. Even if you have to sell your car and half of what you own.

Do you want to OWN your car or OWN your driver's license? Just look into everything, do your homework....and do what you have to do in order to keep your license.

I didn't even get my license till 25 so... I would of chosen the car myself.
But, the 7 years till your insurance rates clear would blow hard.
Lets just hope it doesn't go worst case scenario. If you have a month, you can always try to scrounge up the cash, or borrow it for a lawyer if you have to go that route.

    hiya Cody,

Hey bud, take any advice with a grain of salt ( including mine ). I have been debating on weather or not to respond to your thread. You see, i have a LONG LONG driving record, had a judge look at my 3/4 of inch driving rap sheet and say (and i quote) " You've got to be kidding me ". I've made the locaL paper twice, nothing i'm proud of and part of the reason i wasnt going to respond. I would not advacte anyone doing the things i've done in the past, but past is past and if anyone holds it against me, I wouldn't want you as a friend anyhow. :deadhorse

Just stay cool and dont let this thing worry you, i wouldn't sell the car for a lawyer either, sold mine for a lawyer in the last BIG incident, come to find out if i hadnt had a lawyer the punishment would have been the same. Not sure how the system works across the bridge in Watrip country, but here in Indiana a case like yours is all misdemeanors, now you shouldn't lose your license, but you will aquire quite a few points on your license. No big deal ( heres the catch though ) YOU MUST STAY OUT OF TROUBLE FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS, and expect your insurance to raise. More than likely if you plead guilty, all citations will add up to around 7 points, here in Indiana you get up to 12 points allowed ( i think ). Just keep cool and dont fret on it, there will be bigger things down the road for you to worry yourself with, ( Like when your riding shotgun and YOUR KID gets pulled over ) chill, everything will be fine.

    Peace
