R&C Power Rack vs Manual Rack?

    I want to know which way to go. I want to clear up the engine bay, but I enjoy Power steering. Do any of us have the R&C MII with a manual or a power rack? I want to weigh the balance and hear from experience. How bad is manual steering in our cars? How good is Power steering in our cars? Thanks in advance.

    I have their...manual rack...with a 15" steering wheel...no problems steering...(no leaks)...:thumbs2:

    And I have a power rack in mine, mainly because removing the PS pump would have been more trouble than it was worth. Steers like a new car, but I had to install a flow reducer valve since my GM pump was overpowering the rack...

    Kool...since I tore everything out already Im thinking seriously about thier manual rack. Just one less thing to maintain and as long as its not as bad as my old 53 Opra Window GMC Truck I had in High School, Ill be fine. Besides....I want this car to be fun. Can you describe your turning radius?

    it's not "power" so the answer is yes...:rolleyes:
    the key is a...15" or bigger steering wheel...:yup:

    Drives like a newer car with power "assist" and not the old 70's mushiness. I set my caster at + 4.5° which also helps to tone down the "power" feel.
