    my dad got me a 302 i was wanting a to know what headers to go w ?

    I recommend hooker super comps but, in headers make sure it has a thick flange where it bolts to the head and a good set of bolts to prevent gasket failure.

    Some like them, some hate them but I've had good luck with the 6901 hookers with 94 Lightning header gaskets. They haven't leaked since I put them on over 10 years ago

    I put Headmans on mine.Fit good and priced well,no real complaints.

    Your dads cool:thumbs2:, hooker headers or headman is all I read about but dont forget the stering drop bracket, and they wont work with a colunm shifter, need floor mount to my nolig

    yes he is he whats to help me get it on the street and im trying to get a t5 in to :character0182:but he keeps telling me it a ho 302 he told me it came of a 86 truck and it dose have truck manifold i just dont think im that lucky

    Hedman headers for a mav will work with a column shifter. Have had mine for 3yrs.you just have to modify the rod from the end of the column to the trans. I made 1 shifter rod from 2 parts, then sleeved the 2 together. :)

    Do a search for headers on here and you'll find all sorts of info. I have the Hookers on mine. There is a trick to getting them on. That info is in the search.:)
