If you read this http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=53320 you'll see how the sway bar is installed. The posts at the end show the problem and solution.

I bought an Addco 264 rear sway bar and took it too my expert alignment suspension shop. They have a drive on bay....work under the car. They just called me and told me the bracket for the bar to the car is not the right angle. I have to agree....not really even close. Binding and misaligned. So it seems I will have a custom bracket made to attach the bushing loaded bolt through the end of the sway bar to the square "U" bolt in the frame. (as well as a reinforcing channel added to the frame. I see that the bushing loaded bolt would be under going a crazy misalignment if it was installed as is. Attached is a pic showing a pic of someones bar installed and he shimmed the bracket with washers.... hmmm.. any thoughts anybody if ya'll been down this road. thanks.
