do you guys think this supercharger would realy work? on 85 302 http://www.superchargertuning.com/pages_contents/show/id/18
A few things come to mind... How can a 900+ watt motor pull 60 amps through those wires? Up to 5PSI generated... but at what flow rate? I'm skeptical of the performance gains.
Did you watch the video and see what happened when they started up the turbine..........aluminum pieces started flying.....................there is no way it can produce 5lbs boost with a plastic housing and a aluminum bathroom fan. I would be worried about this fan coming apart and the pieces going into the motor. I am very skeptical..............................but hey, it's your money and your motor...............IMHO
Never mind if it even works or not. I would ask myself this... IF IT FAILS AND DEBRIS TAKES OUT MY ENGINE WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THEM PAYING THE BILL?? I THINK WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION..SO NO I WOULDNT INSTALL IT EVEN IF THEY GAVE IT TO ME FOR FREE.
Those only work on rice burners owned by those who wear their ball caps backwards. And their pants down around their butt cheeks.
I can't decide weather I want to buy one of these for my Cleveland or a pair of those X-Ray glasses that I saw on the back cover of a 70's issue of Spider Man
I'd much rather have the X ray glasses. Once you start lookin at the girls with these, you forget all about goin fast.
There are some badass E chargers but they look more like this: The one you link to is just a gimmick to sell people crap.
This one's a gimmick as well. Lets, see, two 20 pound starter motors, the super charger surely weighs another 50-75 pounds. Then there's the batteries needed to run the whole thing, plus the extra alternator to charge the batteries. Then there's the 40 pounds of welding cable to wire the whole thing together. All in a ricer car powered by a 4 banger to start with.
i cant find the video i watched on theese but it doesnt create nearly enough power to gain ANY boost, and yeah think about if that plastic fan broke off and, well, you know the rest.
