I was going to get some sport mirrors off a Pinto that this guy has and I noticed these seats. I told him to pull the seats before he junks the car. The foam and springs seem like they might actually be in good shape. The seats have a few tears, but overall are in surprisingly good shape. All of the brackets and metal pieces underneath are rusty...maybe it can be removed? Here are some pictures. What do you think they are worth? He will probably want me to sell them for him. Let me know what you think. :thumbs2: BTW, The seats are the same size they just look different by the way they were sitting in the picture.

Less than $30 each at the Pull a Part no matter what condition or what car

Well I guess he won't be happy to hear that, with as difficult as they were to get out. I know seats can be gotten pretty cheap nowadays. Just thought these would be closer to original than any of the newer stuff out there.

I believe they are narrower than a Maverick seat as well

I would say maybe $100 for the pair or less. Based on condition...I would say less.

They look like the ones from my 73 Mav. I got to drive mine before the tear down, those seats feel real good to me.

That is actually what I was thinking, but I honestly wasn't sure. I would just feel bad if the seats weren't worth anything after I told the guy to pull them out of the car.

My 70 GT Torino in Highschool had white Comfort weave seats, to die for. Theres a guy in PHX that does them perfectly. Im gonna have him embed my mav script emblems in them.

My older Bro has a '69 Torino GT Fastback that he was actually thinking about putting these seats in. He just told me that he thinks the seats will be too small for his car and will look funny.

Well Mach I high backs would probably look better, but who can tell the diff. these are comfortable seats. I dont think the 69 had Mach I high backs, My sisters boyfiend had a 69 but I could be wrong. So long ago and memory hasnt been the first thing to go with me but its gone just the same.

Those are actually what he said he wants. He said he thinks they are a little bit taller and will fill in the space better.
