73 comet (why im pissed)

i got a 73 comet and the front bumper really pisses me off... is there anyway i can get a 72 or 71 front bumper anywhere??????????

 

Thats quite a bit of hate for just a bumper. I would hate to see your rage if you had a 74-up front bumper.

You can do the small bumper swap, but you need to acquire the parts. Post in the Parts Wanted section and someone will respond if they have what you need. Read about the swap in the Technical Articles section of the forum.

but wouldnt i have to first get the 71 or 72 bumper???????

 

You need the front bumper, brackets, gravel shield and valance. The 73 valance could work but has a larger opening under the bumper.

on my 73 comet 2 door.. what is that piece that covers the muffler and gas tank.. it had to be something there cause u can see where there are holes for screws?????????

 

to the board.... Have you considered the front bumper tuck? I've done it on my 73 Comet...

I recommend the bumper tuck too. I tucked in those big ol 77' bumpers and it helped the look big time.

I like ur blacked-out grill. I blacked-out most of my grill last year; looking at urs I may go back and do entire grill like also. I see at first u did not b/o the entire grill.

 

You also need the center grill support

Never seen such a thing. Holes are there for something else.
