What axles for a street strip mav????

    Hey guys im curious what axles some of you guys are using. I have a 71 maverick it has a 302 with ported heads b cam victor jr intake manifold full msd inginion with 2 step. the car has a t5 swap with 380 gears and a 150 shot of spray its mostly gonna be a drag car but street legal im looking for some decent axles i have a brand new posi unit with stock axles what do you guys reccomend i was thinking moser axles but not sure if they sel them for maverick or if i have to get them made any help would be great thanks guys

    if your running the 8" still the axles are not the weakest part. with your combo i would expect the t5 to be the weakest link.
    if your running a 9" then see the thread linked to above.

    yeah im positive the tranny is the weakest point but its only a t5 if it blows up im just gonna buy a tko trans. Its a 8 inch rear ill definitely check out that thread thanks
