I myself just picked up a "74 also. Pulled out the 200 cylinder and started doing the 302 swap. Have fun with it.

Hi Phil, You can find new headliners at AutoKrafters, and maybe on Ebay, used ones in junkyards and the "Parts Wanted" section of these forums.

Seat Frames are best to get from either on here in the Parts Wanted, or junkyards, or Ebay. Pay attention to what KIND of seats you want, there are different styles. Be sure to not to forget about the different types of seat rails that you will need also.

You can get new carpet from ACC, and several stores on Ebay, so be careful and shop around on your carpet, and make sure to get the correct one for your car's year. Not sure what you mean by "doors".

You should be able to tell if your car had buckets or bench seat by looking at the number of seat holes in your floor pan. Look either under the carpet, or under the car. 4 holes (2 on each side) would be bench, 8 holes would be bucket.

To tell if your car came with buckets from the Factory, look at the 2 letter code in the TRIM section of your VIN sticker, and if the first letter starts with an "L" or "P", then if came with buckets from the Factory, otherwise it came with a Bench Seat.

Don't be afraid to ask as many questions on here as it takes. You'll get answers.

As far as the dictionary definition....it is worth EXACTLY what you paid for it.
