hey from south mo! i like the site! im looking for a load of parts and im not finding much available. hope someone can point me in the right direction. what i need...new or gently used... fuel tank windshield rubber rear window rubber wheel spacers (2 inch and 1 inch) bucket seats (racing seats if possible) quarter panels lots of advice someone who wants to finish the car for free for me but still let me take all the credit..... any help is appreciated!
from Northeast Pennsylvania Glass rubbers and aftermarket quarter panels are available at Autokrafters Racing buckets - Jegs or Summit Racing Fuel tank is available and I'm sure someone will ID a source for you Wheel spacers - not sure but not too keen on using them as they put a lot of stress on the wheel studs Advice-you will get plenty as you have come to the right place
Where is South MO are you located? Here is a tech article on here swapping to a Mustang Tank http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=35490 You can also use a later Maverick tank which can be bought from NAPA, Rockauto.com and other places. You will need the longer straps as well. As far as wheel spacers, I personally don't like the idea as I feel it moves the bearing load on the spindle. Lot of people run them and they are available from Jegs, Summit and many online vendors.
