Yep, there is an Allen wrench that fits the Torx head, don't remember the size off hand.

:hmmm: Your one of those guys that uses a 14mm wrench on a 9/16 arent you?? ;)

T50. A good quality one. You dont want to slip and wreck the bolt and your extremities on whatever un-godly chunk of steel is strategically placed to injure.

Uh, no, I have a full compliment of metric tools. But I've probably only ever needed a Torx driver about three times in the last 40 years. One of those times was to remove the seat belt bolts, and they came out easily.

    LOL. Just pokin fun.
Torx are all over the cars now. Makes me nuts everyday. I did however spend a couple of years doing front brakes on Dakota/Durangos with an allen socket till I noticed one day that they are actually Torx bolts. :)

did brakes on a friends VW. Got a lesson in sockets with that job. Had to buy a 14mm triple square socket which is apparently different than a 12pt socket and nobody close by stocks them.

I have a Bug in the body shop to do 4 wheels pads and rotors. Not a socket in the building to fit. VW dealer is up the road and they owe me a couple after bailing them out on the VW/Chrysler mini van nightmares. LOL. Guess I'll be borrowing tools off them.
My buddies 850I BMW has some goofy bolts. His wheel locks are a 16 point key/bolt. I end up with tools everywhere when I work on this thing. Oddball sizes and no consistency.
