Well I went today to Frank's house in Vernon Fl......the guy from Califormia with the Maverick parts whom I passed on his contact information here some time ago, well he had some parts left so I cleaned him out today, My Tahoe is loaded from front to back!! I got two doors from a 73, eight or ten door handles of assorted designs and colors, some LDO, an entire black dash, black interior plastic, plastic inner fender barriers, one kinda beat-up fender from the same 73' as the doors, a trunk lid, a spoiler of some type, a factory tinted rear window with rubber seal (still soft and in good shape) four of the small side windows, a set of boomerangs, assorted trim pieces, windshield wipers, and I think the windshield rubber seal (also still soft) both pieces of a black rear seat, black seat belts, a headlight assembly with headlight door, steering column trim (2), and lots of little stuff I can't remember it all....pics tomorrow when I get it unloaded, it's pouring down here now. Oh I gave him $40.00 for it all.
Congratulations on all of those parts! What an amazing price for all of that stuff. I bet tools and pieces were flying to beat that Florida rainstorm!
It's raining too bad and it's too dark for me to unload tonight, it is packed in there like sardines...I would get hurt and wet trying to unload tonight, will have pics tomorrow during unloading, all this stuff was stored inside his forty foot trailer and he wants to sell the trailer so it had to go....I just remembered some more parts I got....transmission crossmember, transmission mount, two gas pedals with throttle cables, two black visors and one tan visor, an original radio with bezel, an old headliner (good for pattern) and door rubber seal.
Looks like some good stuff!! You know your a Maverick/Comet guy, when you have a box full of quarter windows.
