Hi everybody, I'm glad to come back to your forum after a long time without login.
I came to this forum before when I was 18 year old and owned a black Maverick.
Now I'm 23 and owning for almost 3 years a Ford Maverick GT (brazilian) V8, all original, never restored . It has a nice history I'll tell as soon as I get time (3 in the morning here).
Here go a pic and 2 little clips of it. CHEERS.

    Thank you !

This car has a nice history till it get to me, I'll tell if you dont mind.

It was sold brand new in 1975 in a car store called "Mesbla" to a man who used it some years when he sold to another man who used it not too much untill 1986. In 1986 it passed to the 3º owner who kept it and cared it like a son untill 1995 +/-, from 1995-2008 when I found, It was saved into a garage with no use. It was a big lucky that this garage was dry and the car was preserved.
In 1975 Mesbla showed 2 GT models, one white (mine) and the other red. Here is another fact intresting. The red one belongs to a good friend of mine, his dad bought it brand new and sold later on, then they bought it again and restored.

As soon as I get time I'll make a better video showing details such as the original manual, the store emblem still on the back pannel and other things.

    Cheers
obs. hope my english can be understood.

Your english is great and so is that car. I'd love to build a Brazilian Maverick clone one day.

Love the Maverick. What part of Brasil are you from? I lived in Florianopolis for a few years and I love Brasil. Would love to import a GT to the U.S.
