Yesterday I went to the Stampede.I traveled 10 hrs,and about 475 mls.I left at 3:15 AM and got home around 11:55.This morning I got up and left to go to p-a-p.5 mls from the house, the tention pulley for the A/C takes flight and I lose the belts.I ran the 6 mls to p-a-p,gettin hot,but made it safe.Went in,found the part right away.In lessthan 1 hr I left home, broke down, went for parts, and was back together.
Yup! You just keep that toolbox in the car like that and all will be well! Glad everything worked out. Definitely would have been bad at 4am in the middle of nowhere though.
Ain't nothin to it.I got tools and a flashlight.I keep a spare belt under the spare tire.I always keep a gallon of water in the trunk and a thermostat with gasket.I may be crazy but I have always made it home.
I have always had old cars, even 40's and 50's stuff. My newer cars and trucks sit while i drive the good stuff.
