Alright here we have another offering from the land of Ebay. A non Grabber Colorado car. Interior looks very nice, engine bay looks clean enough. Has a front disk brake conversion from a Granada and a small bumper conversion done. Some minor surface rust on the underside and the ussual rusty rear quarters. Hard to say but it looks like the battery tray might need some help aswell. Almost looks like it may have been hit in the right fron at one time from the looks of the one engine bay pic. Some pretty good dents and dings. Definately needs some body work done. the bid is already at $1300 or so. I'm thinking because of the interior and it being reasonably rust free I'd say $2800 to 3 grand as long as the frame isn't wrinkled from a front end crash. I really so need to see a better pick of the right front. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973...3837957?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4aa90ddd05
I agree the body is alittle banged up but it had 5 lug axles disc brake front etc. it has alot of the things we would do already done to it.
I'd say 2500, the car looks pretty decent, other than the dent. Looks like the guy is a car guy, so if it was a heap, I doubt he would have bought it.
I would go a little higher....up to $3000. That interior is nice...and desireable. Even in that condition.....the car still has eye appeal. A "new to the collector car world" type person (they seem to gravitate towards Mavericks) will see that car as cheap. If that was a Camaro or Mustang in that condition....just imagine. Looks like original paint, so in that case...that car has very little rust. Plus....no reserve!! it will sell.
Are those Maverick Buckets ... They look lower than your typical Hi-backs ... although he doesn't have a nice full interior picture. They are definitly not 73 Buckets.
Owner states 1967 Mustang buckets. The more I look at that car...the more SOLID it is. That is original paint folks. No pop-rivits, no chicken wire, no bondo. Somebody needs to get that car!!!
I wonder if he has all the trim to go along th eside of the car to cover all theose holes. That would be tough to find all that trim i think and it would need it to look noce and be a good looking driver. But if the buyer is going to paint it then i guess it dosnt matter and they can fill the holes. It is a prety nice car, I'd say $3000-$3500
I've never seen so many white fords! I kinda like it, might do 2grand. Then I could have another red ford in my yard.
