I seen in searches where people are running this setup, I'm going to subscribe cause I would like to hear some recent feedback on this setup as well. I am thinking of switching over too.

I'll be trying it as soon as I can sell my AOD.

74Grabber, you are thinging of switching over to it? What are you using now? I thought you already had a t5 in the car.

I have one on my 69.5, and I love it. No problems, cable still works like new after almost 3yrs. Just follow the instructions and it works very well. Oh, I would put a topside adjuster on the cable. Just easier than getting under the car to adjust the clutch.

I do have a t-5 in the car already, but I run the old z-bar setup with a old bell housing and a adapter plate. Its been handed down in the family for a while LOL.

I'm not a fan of the hydraulic setup, I had numerous issues with them on ford probes so no more for me. And I've never broke a cable in any of my mustangs, but I always use either maxim motorsports cables or ford cables.

I am going to buy this kit when I do my swap. It comes with the clutch set and an adjustable cable, firewall adjuster, and quadrant. But I cant use the aluminum quadrant, need the Mustang Steve one so it can be welded to the pedal. But for $190 (before my employee discount) its a great deal. the cable alone can be $100. And the only other guy i know that ordered the kit said the cable and quadrant was labeled as Steeda, guess Sachs makes the stuff for Steeda.

On Steves site,he says a 87-93 mustang cable with the adjuster at the bottom will work.I've found the heavy duty cables on ebay from anywhere between $ 19.95 on up to $45.00 Can't recall what length though.I want to say 60" cable with a 48" housing.

Boosha; I am running a '93 Must. GT trans (335 first gear). If you have the topside adjuster, install it with the cable. Also, the adjuster at the trans is a good thing to have also. Lets you get a bigger swipe at the adjustment.

Be careful with the cheap cables. Ive had bad luck with them on my Mustang. Best cable I ever used was the Ford Motorsport cable but it was close to $100. In my Mustang crowd I don't know anybody who runs an offbrand cheap cable, we all had bad luck with them.
