well today i took on the undertaking of swapping out the rear ends from the donor car to the car im building and i found a nifty little surprise. underneath of the car im using i found a rear end that i dont recognize. the casting numbers are c90w 4025a. i tried to google it with no luck. the thing that struck me as odd is that it does not have a removable center section like the 8" and 9". instead it has a differential pan in the rear with the drain plug in the front. any ideas as to which rear end it may be? and as i side not this must be the smallest one ever made because the 8" dwarfs it.

Sounds like the 7.5 rear from the early 69.5 & 70's. Is it a 4 or 5 lug?

Can't be a 7.5 cause Ford never made one. It could a 7.25" or worst yet a 6.75" or 7"
