my 71 grabber has a 250 i6 and i want it to sound "mean", i saw a video on youtube of a mustang with a 200 and flowmaster 40 series that sounded good. any suggestions?
look up the username acmav289 on youtube. I have a couple of videos. Ive ran a magnaflow, homemade bullet, turbo muffler, test pipe, and 40S flowmaster. I liked the cherrybomb turbo II the best. It sounds just like a flowmaster but its twenty bucks at any autozone.
In response to your youtube comment if you want your six to sound like a V8 then do a swap theres really no other way..... Any real hot hodder can tell an inline six from a V8 by just the sound.
i really wanna do a swap and we have an extra 302 laying around, but i might get a cobra II if youve seen my other thread that has a 302
yeah I saw it! Pretty cool little cars. If you end up with that one keep the six in the maverick. Its kinda fun to have one of each. I have a 302 in the mav and a 200 in the Falcon. Best of both worlds
the "cobra" (still unknown at this point) has the 302, i got the VIN but i cant find out if its a king or just a cobra II
The king has like a funky body kit on it doesnt it? I think the spoiler would be a dead giveaway. But at the end of the day its still a MII. Nothing really sought after so modify it some more
both had the body kit and spoiler the main diferance is the hood on the regular cobras the air dam was facing the grill on the kings the dam was facing the windsheild, but i dont think they made a regular Ttop cobra II, either way its got true duels and glasspacks
