i have a roller out of a 94 mustang. i do not have power steering and i did the 3g conversion on my charging system.
here is my problem. i want to run the v-belt pulleys and belts, i do not want to run serpentine. my harmonic balancer has 4 bolts to mount the bottom pulley. i want to buy a pulley but the only v belt pulleys i can find are the old 3 bolt style. it cant be this hard. is anyone out there running a roller with manual steering and v belt? what pulleys do you have?
    anyone have any ideas?

    help:cry:

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
they have four. I believe only the 60s early 302s used the 3 bolt style. Ive never seen any though all the 302 ive worked on have been 4 bolt. 289s used the 3 bolt style though, those may be the ones you find on stang parts stores.

the crank pully wont be your only problem. the 94 had a different timeing cover and water pump than the older ones. the waterpump is reverse rotation. so to use vbelt you need to change to a standard rotation water pump wich will require a different timeing chain cover.

Well in a mav u have to have a frt sump pan which requires old style timing cover for dipstick provision anyway.

Used all the belts and pulleys from my old '75 engine on my roller. Everything works fine. Get a 3G alt. from an F450-600 pickup.....95amp, same form factor as the stock alt. Works great!

3 bolt dampers were used through 1969. They went to 4 bolts starting in 1970.

Why are you set against the multi rib belts(serpintine style)?
