Stupid Rain... Stupid UPS

    Man Just tracked my plethora of parts shipment from Summit Racing (Distributor, Wires, Fuel Pump, Headers, Lokar Cables, Flexplate, etc, etc.)and was sent back to ups won't be able to pickup until monday wanted to get in some time on the 70 Mav 302 but FAIL! Then I look outside and its RAINING!? Good Grief now I wont even be able to pull the motor for prep... What a crappy friday!? :cry:

    That sound like my luck. It could have been worse if UPS left your parts laying out in the rain - I've had that happen before :cry:

    Yea never happend to me but I would probably not be the happiest of people Just looking forward to getting the Mav running after almost a year of ownership. Ill be posting alot as soon as I have the pics of the work.

    The problem in getting mine on the road is that I keep adding more and more to the project. I've owned it for 21 years and the last time I drove it was 21 years ago. It fell apart as I drove it home from a guy here in town that gave it to me for free.

    I know this free car has cost me a bunch so far :biglaugh:

    I looked at the pics on your profile and wow I can see why it has taken you so long to do the work. Man as soon as its back on the road.... or track.... it will be a great day for Mavericks..

    I went out to the garage for an hour or so and got my new/old AC heater box tore apart to nothing so at least I got something done tonight :burnout:

    Over the weekend the rain stopped long enough for me to drop in my HEI Distributor. STOKED pick up the other parts today and hopefully the rain lets up for a little while. Hoping to get my fuel pump mounted and fuel lines ran this week at the very least.:yahoo:
