Wonder if a couple cars I used to have ended up on this board?

Just hrowing it out there to see if by a slim chance somebody here has one of my old cars:rofl:

One was a 1974, white, 302/auto, all stock last I knew, grey on top where vinyl roof was, a/c, old school slots wheels, Excort high back buckets. last known position Prescott Az. about 3 years ago.

The other was a 1970 250/auto, Yellow car with black racing stripes up and over the top and gt style stripes along the side. Had chrome american racing wheels, black interior. Last seen running around Phoenix, probably 5 or more years ago.

I'm 99.9% sure my old Mavericks went to the scrap heap....but I think my dads old 70 model might still be around somewhere. It was last seen late 90s early 2000s and still looked pretty good.

I often wonder about a couple of mine as well. I know one of them prolly went to the junk yard somewhere in my area but one of the other ones I think it actually wound up in Tenn.

The one that went to Tenn. was totally awesome as far as condition was concerned. It was a 1970 Grabber (at least it had all the graber options) had the spoiler, had the sport mirrors, black dash and blacked out grille. It was a 250 I6, but it was still 4 lug when I got it. When I sold it, it was 5 lug in the rear and 4 lug in the front, LOL... Even though it was a 1970 it had the Grabber Hood. It had absolutely "0" rust when I bought it and when I sold it. which was amazing in it's self because when I had that car in the late 80's early 90's all the maverick's in my area were pretty well rusted away. We looked at this one and I think that someone may have put the complete rear quarters on at least one side of the car but if they did they did such a good job it was hard to tell.

But long story, long the one I really wonder about and think it's possible that someone may still have was a 1970 with all the Grabber stuff (including the grabber hood) had a 250 I6 out of a van, a C4 out of a 4 cyl. Mustang II, a 5 lug V8 Rear out of another Maverick which made the speedo off by like 20 miles an hour. Car was a medium blue and had the Maverick hubcaps that have the red centers in them. It had a pretty nice multi piece stereo system in it. It was the AM/FM in dash stereo with a 40 watt x 40 watt under the dash equalizer/power booster hooked to it.
I sold the car to my Uncle for his wife's son or nephew and I think they took the car to Tenn.

WOW did I just babble on forever. haha

This is my dads old car when he sold it in the mid 80s. The last time I saw it around 1990 it still looked the same but I think it had Cragars. Dad had stuff a Mickey Mouse magnet on the dash when we went to Disney World and it was still on the dash when I saw it.

It would be cool if someone here could make a connection on that car or any others someone else owned here.

Nice Gathering of F-150s. Must be a club get togethor. Or maybe a dealership circa 1988?

Yep.....that's the local Ford dealer that my dad worked at from 1961 till he retired in 2001. My Maverick bought from the same dealer in 1970.
