    :dancing::dancing:Hello, I have a 76 Ford Maverick, grey with a 302 and my Son has a 74 electric blue Maverick with a straight 6.

    I found my son's car while searching for parts for my car on Craigslist. It was owned by an old lady who past away without ever learning to drive it. It had only been driven by her kids so it had 76,000 original miles on it with the interior being in near mint condition and the outside having only minor body work issues. I would have bought my sons car myself but could not justify having 2 Mavericks so we bought this for him and called it his. His car is a daily driver, drives and sounds good! (Could be faster though) :)

    My 76 has had much work done on it but more so because I have been taken to the cleaners by mechanics. I love my car! I need to get work done to it and I am hoping to find an honest mechanic locally who knows Fords via this site. It's drivable but still needs some work. I also want to learn more, I have learned so much just in the process of getting work done to my car but I clearly know very little.

    Yes they are v6 on the blue one!

    I don't know much about the wheels, I believe my son removed the center cap and covered the mustang emblem however I do know he had use the spacers and some other "adjustments" had to be made. The tires where very dry rotted when he got the car so I know these wheels were a quick fix.

    76 & 74 Thanks!

    Craig I already emailed you!

    Thanks to everyone for a kind welcome! I love these Maverick there are some really sharp looking cars on here. I really just "hope" to get my Maverick looking like it came off the show room floor! I got a speeding ticket within 3 days of getting this gem so I don't think I need to modify it any but I would like it to get the radio back in it and replace the 1 speaker etc! :rofl2:
