Had a great time at Summit today, 4 Mavericks and 1 Comet, Members cars were Jeffs (Falcon and Maverick), Earls, Davids and mine, very nice meeting couple with Maverick at the show Tommy and his wife, Friend of David Hogans that is doing a 1972 Comet GT and quite a few others that had mavericks at home or was interested in getting one. Terry (Hawko), Mike(M.A.V.), Jimmy and his brother (Torino) stopped by for a visit. Great to see everyone.

Top 30 Peoples Choice Plaques were awarded and out of over 100 cars 2 of the plaques went to 2 of the least expensive cars there a Maverick and a Comet....our cars are gaining in popularity. Congratulations Earl (y)

ok I've always wanted to know, what's with the toy child size dolls that are leaning against the cars . . . I thought I would be clever enough to figure it out. they creep me out and I don't get them . . .

I can't believe people still put those around their car! They are suposed to be kids in "time out"!

Me personally, I want one. So that I can park my front wheel on top of it at a show. I hate those stupid things.

I thought it was a "parking brake" to keep the car from rolling....

We had about 115 cars to show up...ain't bad with a heat index of 105 degrees and with another big car show next town over. The Fairlane Club of America had a mini-meet in the parking lot. A large time was had by all.

Here are a few pictures that I took before the camera battery gave up. http://1bad6t.com/Summit2010/index.html

I hope to add to this collection in the next few days.
