I entered the mav in another car show this weekend and was awarded a trophy for best stock interior. The trophy was sponsered and picked by a local upolstery shop. In may I had it in a show in eastern WA, and received a 3rd place in class. I enjoy car shows and show and shines but the trophys do make them a little more fun.:drive:

Thanks everyone. An important thing to remember, you can't win if you don't enter. Let them know we are still around.:drive:

It's now always like we are still round - sometimes it's like we just arrived.

Ever notice how many time you hear "I haven't seen one of these in years"?

Seems the Mustang has been so dominate at car shows for so long, folks are just so pleased to see a little brother/cousin type Maverick/Comet now and then.

    It's just something different. :thumbs2:

Good point. I have heard that a lot. It was fun when one guy told me that he saw a mav just like mine for sale north of Ferndale for 2k and it looked real strait. Well, today I went looking for it and found a plymoth duster. It was a different color yellow with a very similar style vinyl top, 76k+ original miles, in pretty nice shape. Only minor rear quarter panel rust behind the rear wheels, but not a mav. It was amazing how much they do resemble the maverick.
