1975 Mercury comet... Was so growed up we couldnt even find the car and originally was told it was a maverick.. No title but was supposed to run and drive... Cleared out some weeds then saw magnum 500s, i was just telling my dad i wanted to buy another set(other one is in the trunk)!! Went to the front cleared out some more weeds saw a perfect grill!! then moved out a few more trees saw sport mirrors.. Now i was wanting this car.. Then i look down and see disc brakes oh i really want this car now!! Well i got it for a pretty good price guy had to bring a bob cat in and tear down trees... Had been sitting for 3 years most the tires had air still and it rolled fine and brakes even worked... pretty shocking... But gonna be a good parts car.... Second 75 mercury in 2 weeks lol makes my 21st maverick/comet and my 30th vehicle.
Yeah when we couldnt even find the car i was like gosh this is gonna be a basket case but its really not that bad of a car.... Had to take a bath in rubbing achohol after wards.(poison ivy everywhere and im very allergic)... Now we have put up more privacy fences and cleared out more room so we are gonna be able to store around 15 cars at a time
I found out my dad took pictures of the car as we first found it.. First picture is the car hidden u can barely see the roof.. Second one is after we cleared a path and weedwhacked some weeds. If the guy didnt have the bobcat we would of never gotten the car.
I don't understand how people can leave a vehicle in a place like that. What's wrong with them? Looks good.
It will be a great parts car but im not touching it for a while im gonna pull the wheels put it on blocks and let it sit for a little bit.
Reminds me of when I went and picked my '73 in South Carolina. All you could see was the front bumper through some weeds. Thought man there is going to be nothing left of this thing, but it turned out to be a super nice body.
