I need to run, but the Opel Manta also resembles the Maverick in silhouette.

I dont really see it i think they look more like a toyota celica or something similar.. They arent really like any car.
This one kid came into our shop and looked at an opel manta and him and another friend had a bet on what kinda of car it was. And he was like This is a mustang Gto right? And my boss was like yes it sure is. ANd then the kid tells the other one "I told you so!"

I am around opel mantas all day long, but not just any opel mantas Steven Juliano's opel mantas one of which has 3946 original miles.

In Europe it's a Ford. And although they were sold at Mercury dealerships when they brought them here, they never actually wore a Merc badge until they changed platforms.

Thanks, the original color is much lighter yellow. I am planning to paint it a non-Ford shade of blue.

It is a 302-4V automatic, with power steering. I have already rebuilt the front suspension, added a 15/16" Granada front sway bar, and added disc brakes.

Awesome! It would be nice to see pics of it when you are done. The GT/CS's are nice.

Sorry...didn't know that. Never lived in Europe before.
Don't they still build Mavericks in Europe?
