Floor

    Doing my interior and the floor has some surface rust. What is the best way to treat this before laying down the sound deadner? POR 15? What have you guys done? Any pics?

    When I did my last one I cleaned it all up with a wire wheel, shot it with rust neutralizer and then with truck bed coating as a rust inhibitor/sound deadener.

    I like POR 15, I just do what it says in the instructions.

    Just don't get it on your skin, I know over the years lots of things have said that, but it you want a blotch of paint to hang around for about 2 weeks...I know, I did it :)

    I hear there, I have used it a couple times in the past and that stuff really gets under your skin.....

    I used Rust Bullet, and am happy with the results.

    Just be sure to use it with some ventilation. Did an early-AM session in a closed garage with it. Won't do that again ... felt bad all day.:dizzy:
