I attended one of the Chicago large area Kruize events this evening held in Lemont, Illinois abt 25mi sw of downtown Chicago where I estimate there were between 200-300 cars. I had the only thing there that looked like a Mav/Comet. I also temporaily installed my new pass side seat frm a 2000 Stang. The Stang seats height is abt 3/4 in higher than the original seat.
Anyway, I hp to get the other one in tommorrow so I won't go into details in the General area of the forum. I'll wait till I see how/ if I can get the other seat in to my satisfaction and go to the tech area.

    Seat Update 6/17.2010:
I have decided to keep my original seats and have covers made.
The cushion in the Stang seats are a little to high. I only have abt 1" of head clearance w/ Stangs seats and abt 3 to 4" w/ orig seats, that put's my head a little to close to the roof. A gud bump and here comes a hickey and yes I do have them mounted on the orig bucket seat brackets.
I like the Stang seats, if for no other reason than the adj. backrest, but looks like they may have to go. Im glad I put the pass seat in first, that way I don't have to let the car set cuz no seat. So, I suppose I won't have to go to the tech forum for this potienial upgrade.
