Yeh yeh yeh, im working on it, cool your jets (noone cares lol!!!) Need to get newer bearings because the machine shop i took the pistons to to get the ibeams switched over threw the new bearings away Also need to get new rings for the new pistons and hopefully find a compressing tool to install the pistons. Ported the exhaust side on the e7s and a little bit on the intake side. Transmission gasket today and hopefuly the 9 inch posi is going in (thats right, i called it a posi) btw thanks for the new valve seals scooper! Will install soon
You think you got a posi - I can see from the tag that you really bought a "T-Lock" Man did you get taken
Sorry to hear of bearings,,, Looks like its all coming together! Geez,,, and I was waiting for another cam poll!!!! Are you fitting the rings or is the machine shop sizing the rings? Use Lots of assembly lube!!! (keeps your hands moist!) GOOD LUCK!!!
I can see getting to 400.00 with no problem. I need to get my 9 inch "N" case redone and so far my 3.89 gears 125.00, Timken install kit 70.00, clutch discs/plates 56.00 + the labor to have it all done right 250.00 = 501.00
Take your time an fit rings to each cylinder. I always used lots of tranny fluid on rings, double check everthing, pistons should be marked towards front of engine. You,ll be fine and Good Luck! if you find yourself scratching your head, stop an ask or dig in the manual,,,
