That's not rust... that's a zit. And since there's no wheel well trim; I'd just clean and prepare the inside of the wells and check the seam inside the trunk to get it painted and protected.
well, i might give it a try to sell it as a whole...i need money...bad...Very likely i need a rebuild on my 302
I'll have to agree with everyone else here too nice to part out sell it or keep it and have a nice Big 6 Maverick as you daily driver.
drive it while your saving up and fixing the 302, then clean it up and sell to someone if you cant keep two. Very nice find!
Thats one hell of a solid car up here. That rust is a cake walk man. IF I was you and couldnt keep it I would clean it up, do a bumper tuck and sell it.
thats not rust if it was me i wouldn't kill that car. utah cars don't rust out as bad as cars from the rust belt but my comet is in worse shape than that. i agree with every one else that you could probly sell it for what you need money wise.
Not entirely true, Washington has two distinct personalities. Matt's side (western half) has the rust issues and my side (eastern) has the sun-baked issues. We get the best of both worlds!
Yep, I bought my Stallion out of the good side evidently. Believe me I was worried till it got here but was pleasantly surprised. The car is in great shape with only two small spots of rust about the size of a qtr.
Sold the car as a whole! gonna be sad to see this one go. after i cleaned it up i really enjoyed it... Thankfully its going to a forum member who will enjoy the Mav cleaned up real nice!
