Update I actually found a small c4 bell housing and it looks like the fix! Now if anyone has a separator plate that fits a small c4 i need one! Preferably a nice one with an inspection cover. Reply or PM me if you have one or know where I can find one, thanks.
Don't worry i didn't crawl under there like that! nah, the converters ok, its just the bell housing that was wrong. I'll be using the 157 tooth flexplate and the same converter, just had the wrong bellhousing.
Exactly That converter isnt going to work if it was bolted up to a 157 tooth flex and your trying to use a 164 tooth:16suspect
I'm sticking with the 157 tooth flexplate, and a smaller bellhousing, i had the wrong bell housing all along. Before we thought i needed the 164 tooth but its not the case. thanks for looking out for me though.
